Lots of mud around Herring Island last time I saw it; good thing you can do it on your ergo, but you can still imagine the thrill of getting stuck on the mud as you go around the island, the utter despair of trying to get out of the reeds just before Wesley, the excitement of battling the boat ahead to turn back to go downstream, and the exhaustion of that last 500m through Swan street into a 25kt westerly (if it doesn't rain...).
This week:
All very simple for this week.
{Week3, June 20 will be the first of the handicap series. We will be publishing "heats" with a base time for everybody by Tuesday night. You will row 2000m and email in your time, and then wait anxiously to see if you "won" your heat. The handicappers will be waiting to shaft those who clearly need a new base time for week4.}
