VSA Safety - the Safety Management Plan and Safety Briefings for competitors

The Wintersculling series is run under a permit from Transport Safety Victoria, via Parks Victoria (the waterways manager), which provides an exemption from the use of PFDs (lifejackets).  The Victorian Sculling Association has a Safety Management Plan (SMP) and operates the series through Safety Plans for each event under this SMP.

Safety Briefings for competitors are posted under the "Wintersculling Series Events" tabs before each event, or provided on the day for the Albert Park Grand Prix and the Head of the Barwon.
